WELCOME TO
PUKERUA BAY AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Pukerua Bay After School Care has been operating from Pukerua Bay School Hall for over 10 years.
We Offer:
- Professional supervised and structured programmes for children aged 5-13 from 3pm to 6pm.
- Roll call and afternoon tea on arrival.
- Varied programmes to support different ages and genders of children including sporting and outdoor opportunities, art and craft activities, baking weeks, and quiet time for homework.
- Low fees - $5.00 per hour for regular users and $6.00 per hour for casual users.
- A community based service that links in closely and is supported by other community groups in Pukerua Bay.
- Staff who have first aid certificates and regularly attend OSCAR workshops.
We are:
- Approved by OSCAR and Child Youth and Family (which means we have strong management and governance policies and procedures in place).
- Approved for families to receive an OSCAR subsidy for childcare.
- Local but open to children from other schools to attend,
- Governed by a management committee made up of parents closely connected to Pukerua Bay School and management.
