The Pukerua Bay School Fundraising Trust is an active and independent community organisation which supports the school through its major role of fundraising for the school.
The Trusts fundraising programme plays a vital role in the financial health of the school, and all families are actively encouraged to become involved. Many of the fundraising activities are fun as well as financially productive such as the annual community quiz night, trolley derby and children's disco. The School Gala organised by the Trust each year and held during March, is the major fundraising event of the year. It begins with a fancy dress parade to the school, and includes a variety of refreshments and sales stalls, games and a monster auction.
The Trust is a great way to meet school community members. Keen enthusiastic new faces are most welcome.
The Fundraising Trust meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the school staffroom at 7.00pm. All parents are welcome to attend.
